September 27, 2018 Dr. LaReau has been requested to address the Illinois State Assembly of Surgical Technicians on September 27th. The lecture, which will be given at Robert Morris University, will address the role and importance of the surgical technician in joint replacement and hip preservation.
August 16-19, 2018 Dr. LaReau will serve as an instructor for the Chicago Trauma Symposium.
May 24, 2018 Dr. LaReau served as a lecturer for Lyons Township High School Career Day on May 24. The subjects of the address to current high school students included an overview of how to explore a career in medicine, review of a sample patient case, and surgical videos
May 18-19, 2018 In an effort to help orthopedic surgeons during their first years of practice, Dr. LaReau served the AAOS (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons) for two days (May 18-19) as a mock instructor, reviewing surgical cases and providing instruction to practicing orthopedic surgeons preparing for their oral board exams.
