Hinsdale Junior Women’s Club Jingle Dash 5K – Event RecapRobbins Park, Hinsdale | November 23, 2025

Engagement

IBJI was proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Hinsdale Junior Women’s Club (HJWC) Jingle Dash 5K, which brought together over 250 racers at Robbins Park. The HJWC exceeded their fundraising goals and did an outstanding job promoting IBJI throughout the event, both prior to and during race day. Our footprint included two IBJI tents, a marketing table, two stretching tables, and a festive photo backdrop station. Pre-race bags included IBJI mini zip bags and hand warmers, extending our presence even before race day. At the event, participants engaged with our team for ortho access information, chapstick, koozies, and mints, and many took advantage of the opportunity to sign up for table stretching sessions with our trainers. The IBJI photo op station was a major highlight, where racers could write their finish times on a whiteboard, pose with festive props, and capture a memory of the day. Additionally, the HJWC provided a photo backdrop featuring the IBJI logo prominently displayed, further increasing our brand visibility.

Memorable Interactions

A “Buddy the Elf” impersonator energized the crowd and added a fun, festive atmosphere to the race experience. Dr. LaReau delivered a pre-race speech, that resonated with participants, and he went on to run the race alongside his son, further strengthening our community connection. IBJI Athletic Trainer Alexa Lopez also participated in the race, representing IBJI on the course. On-site support included two HPI trainers, Jack Grant and Lauren Notaro, who led the pre-race dynamic warm-up, ATC Marjorie Leahu, providing medical and event support, and Allison Van Deveer from HR, assisting with waivers and assistance as needed. Approximately 20 racers received table stretching, and numerous participants engaged in conversation with our staff while collecting giveaways.

Event Flow

The event was well organized and ran smoothly from start to finish. Pre-race activities, including packet pickup, warm-ups, photo opportunities, and stretching services, flowed efficiently and kept participants engaged leading up to the starting horn. The post-race atmosphere was upbeat, with continued traffic through the IBJI tents for information, interaction, and giveaways. The coordination between IBJI and the HJWC team was seamless and collaborative throughout the morning.

Overall Impact

The 2025 Hinsdale Jingle Dash 5K was a resounding success for both the HJWC and IBJI. The HJWC surpassed their fundraising goal, while IBJI gained strong brand visibility, community engagement, and direct interaction with hundreds of individuals and families. The positive energy, high participation, and exceptional organization made this event a meaningful and impactful partnership. The HJWC was a pleasure to work with and provided outstanding support and recognition for IBJI as the Presenting Sponsor.
