Comments: I had my left hip replaced by Dr LaReau 4 weeks ago and it has been an amazing experience from start to finish! He was conservative in his diagnosis and we tried physical therapy to alleviate my pain as a first step- when that didn't work, we discussed other options and settled on a total hip replacement. I elected to do mine at a surgery center- the procedure took a little over an hour and I walked out of there several hours later on crutches. I did the home physical therapy with ATI and that also went very well. I was walking on my own in a couple of weeks and everything is progressing well.
